Polietilen Quvurlari has been launched in the end of August 2010 at Navoi free industrial and economic zone. It specializes on production of polyethylene pipes.
The enterprise has been constructed by Uzbekneftegaz national holding company. The equipment worth US$278,000 was delivered by Chinese investor Nauhauhuamin (China).
Farkhad Odilov said that from the end of August to 1 August 2011, the enterprise produced goods for 4.04 billion soums and recorded income for over 500 million soums.
He said that the enterprise produced 286,400 meters of pressure polyethylene pipes with diameter of 75 to 250 mm and thickness – from 5 to 25 mm.
Odilov said that there is high demand for pipes, which used for water supply and can be used for a long-time. The enterprise use local raw materials for pipe production.
The paper said that the enterprise signed agreement with ROWER GLOBAL ENGINEERING (USA) for supply two more production lines with the cost of US$846,000, which will allow to produce 22 types of polyethylene pipes.
The enterprise started to produce flexible polyethylene hoses with the diameter of 16mm used for trickle irrigation in later July. The enterprise produced 465,000 meters of hoses and fully realized them as of 1 August 2011.
