Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Chinese car brand, OMODA, is planning to launch sales of its vehicles in the market of Uzbekistan by autumn 2023. The company is currently searching for local partners to help distribute and market its cars in the country, OMODA Brand Manager Leo Wang told UzDaily.

OMODA is a new automotive brand in the high-middle segment. The DNA of the brand is innovative technological solutions and futuristic design. The letter “O” from OMODA represents “brand new”, while “Moda” means a fashion trend. In some Western markets, the “O” was described as derived from the word “oxygen”, while “Moda” means “modern”.

The first model to be introduced to the Uzbek market will the OMODA 5, a compact crossover that boasts modern design and advanced features. The company hopes that the OMODA 5 will be well-received by Uzbek consumers.
