New venture to produce medical product from cotton
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
A new Uzbek-South Korean joint venture, Korea Hana Medical, has been set up in Ferghana region.
The joint venture, which carries out its operation as part of a local investment programme, is equipped with modern technology that makes it possible to produce a high quality medical product from cotton fibre.
The venture could process up to 700 tonnes of cotton fibre a year.
