The session discussed issues related to execution of norms of the law “On nature protection” directed at liquidation of accidents and their ecologic consequences (38 article), zones of emergency ecologic situations and ecologic disasters (39 article) and ecologically potential dangerous situation (40 article).

MPs noted several shortages in implementation of these norms in places. In particular, some enterprises did not develop action plans in emergency ecologic situations, alert schemes, etc.

The participants considered issues of improving control over timely and quality execution of works directed at liquidation of accidents and their impact to ecology.

At the end of the seminar, the committee adopted a corresponding decition.
