According to the presidential decree, Minhojiddin Hojimatov has been appointed as the minister of culture and sport affairs of Uzbekistan.

At this post, Minhojiddin Hojimatov replaced Tursunali Kuziev, who worked as the minister of culture and sport affairs of Uzbekistan from June 2011.

Prior to appointment, Minhojiddin Hojimatov worked as the first deputy chairperson of Uzbekistan national television and radio company.
