The delegation included representatives of 30 French companies and organizations such as Air Liquide, Alcatel Lucent, Alex, Alstom Power SA, BNP Paribas, Cifal Groupe, Citilog, Credit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank, EADS Cassisian, Gregori International, Lafarge, Lohr, Nexans, Safran, Saint Gobain, Pam, Savay, Schneider Electric Societe Generale, Thales (Division Internationale), Veolia Environnement, MEDEF International, as well as Ministry of Economy, Finance and Industry of France.
Within the delegation, the delegation will hold negotiations with officials of Uzbekistan, including deputy prime ministers, Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, chairperson of Central Bank of Uzbekistan Fayzulla Mulladjanov.
The sides will consider cooperation in such sectors as energy, chemistry, construction, transport, electronics, telecommunications, machinery and aircraft construction, etc.
On 30 June, an Uzbek-French Business Forum was held in Tashkent, which was attended by leading companies of Uzbekistan, operating in various sectors.
The visit of the French delegation to Uzbekistan will allow the French side to familiarize with economic and investment opportunities of Uzbekistan and help to expand economic cooperation between two states.
