Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Uzenergoinspektsiya division in the Namangan region, together with the regional prosecutor’s office and the gas supply company, conducted inspection activities, which revealed illegal use of natural gas at a gas compressor station in the Navbahor district, owned by the company "S. A. S."

It was found that foreign objects had been installed in the gas meter’s input and output sections at the compressor station, violating state standards, and external forces had interfered with the meter.

Preliminary calculations showed that this violation resulted in a loss of over 26 billion soums for the gas supply company.

As a result, law enforcement authorities are conducting a preliminary investigation.
