Hamkorbank Appoints New Acting Chairman of Management Board
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Hamkorbank has announced a leadership change, appointing Polish banker Rafal Juszczak as acting chairman of the management board. The decision was made by the bank’s supervisory board on May 13, 2026.
At the same time, former chairman Bakhtiyorjon Juraev, who had led the bank since 2021, has been moved to the position of deputy chairman of the management board.
Rafal Juszczak brings more than 26 years of international banking experience. Over the course of his career, he has held senior positions in financial institutions in Poland, Ukraine, and Belarus, including PKO BP, FUIB Ukraine (PUMB), Getin Holding, as well as Alfa-Bank in Belarus and Ukraine.
His professional expertise includes banking business development, digital transformation, the introduction of new financial products, and the management of large banking structures, as well as strategic transformation in the financial sector.
Juszczak graduated from the University of Gdansk with a degree in History and also received additional education in banking and finance at the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce in Rouen, France.
