Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Government resolution adopted the Regulation “On the procedure for obtaining education on the basis of a full state grant for girls studying professions (specialties) in the field of construction, transport, utilities, agriculture and the service sector in colleges and technical schools”

According to the Regulations, state grant funds needed by girls admitted to study at colleges and technical schools are allocated from the republican budget to the relevant ministries and departments in whose system the relevant colleges and technical schools are located, and for which they are distributors of budget funds.

Girls accepted for paid contract training in colleges and technical schools in the relevant areas submit an application for a state grant addressed to the director of the college or technical school before October 10 of the academic year.

Applications are reviewed by colleges and technical schools within 3 working days depending on their relevance and are presented in a summarized form to the regional departments of education, science and innovation.

Regional divisions annually, before 15 October, review the summarized information and send it to the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation.

Every year, before 20 October, the Ministry, based on summarized data, submits lists of girls who have applied for education on the basis of a state grant to the ministries and departments in whose system these colleges and technical schools are located.

Every year, before 25 October, ministries and departments contact the Ministry of Economy and Finance with a request to allocate the necessary funds for the education of girls on the basis of a state grant.

The Ministry of Economy and Finance allocates appropriate funds to the relevant ministries and departments within 5 working days.

Directors of colleges and technical schools are personally responsible for the targeted and effective spending of funds allocated from the State budget to girls receiving education on the basis of a state grant from the 2023/2024 academic year.
