CFM ProEnergies LLC JV, created by Uzprommashimpeks and CFM Holding (Singapore), will produce light-emitting diode lamps and lightening goods.

The venture will produce 2 million units of light-emitting diode lamps, street lamps, traffic lights, floodlights and light-emitting diode advertisement panels a year. The project cost is US$5 million. It is planned to export 50% of goods.

UZKOR Lighting LLC, created by Uzeltehsanoat and South Korea’s Shinghwa Lighting will produce 6 million energy saving gas-discharge compact lamps a year. After the enterprise will reach its design capacity, it will start to output 13.7 million units of lamps. The project cost is US$4.7 million. Half of products will be directed to exports.

At the base of the Uzbek-Singaporean Telecom Innovations on production of set-top boxes for digital television, three sided joint venture in partnership with Chinese ZTE and the UzACI was founded. The venture will produce ADSL and DSLAM modems. The venture will produce 25,000 goods a year.

Navoiy Hunan Pulp JV stared to produce children nappies and other hygienic goods. The venture is founded by Navoiazot and Hunan Aloft Imp&Exp.Co.ltd (China). The capacity of the enterprise is 200 million units of products a year. The project cost is US$2.2 million. The enterprise will export 30% of produced goods.

Hansang LLC of Uzfarmsanoat begins to produce ready medicaments and goods of medical purpose. The cost of the project is US$2 million, which will allow to produce 10 million pills and galenical medicaments. It is planned to export at least 15% of goods.

Before, there were eight enterprises with foreign investments at Navoi FIEZ. They produce such goods as polyethylene and polypropylene pipes, car components, set-top boxes, etc. In seven months of 2011, they produced goods for 12.8 billion soums.
