During the talks, the sides considered issues of developing bilateral relations, as well as actual problems of regional and international character of mutual interest.

According to the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan, trade turnover between Uzbekistan and the United States grew from US$100.3 million in January-June 2010 to US$131.5 million in the same period of 2011.

At the same time, exports of Uzbekistan to the US increased from US$38.3 million in the first half of 2010 to US$56.4 million and imports from US$62 million to US$75.1 million.
