The volume of production of industry grew by 2%. The growth of agriculture output made up 6.9% and construction – 29.1%. Retail trade turnover increased by 16.3% and paid services – by 15.2%.

In January-June 2011, the region launched 80 production objects. Over 500 new jobs were created in the reporting period.

In the reporting period, the region used foreign investments and issued loans for 62.206 billion soums.

In order to implement programme on population employment and support of competition, some 21,215 people were provided with jobs in the reporting period.
