During the meeting, it was noted that relations of Uzbekistan and the Czech Republic are developing gradually, including in parliamentarism.

UzA reported that the sides discussed current state and perspectives of mutual beneficial cooperation between parliaments of two states. The sides exchanged opinion of further developing cooperation in science, education and culture.

On the same day, the Czech delegation held a meeting with the Human Rights Commissionaire of Oliy Majlis (Ombudsperson) Sayyora Rashidova.

The sides stated that mutual relations between Uzbekistan and Czech Republic are gradually developing on law enforcement and human rights protection.

The Czech delegation held meetings with the representatives of the Science Academy of Uzbekistan and Independent Institute on monitoring of formation of civil society.
