Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Coca-Cola Bottlers Uzbekistan plans to build a new plant for the production of soft drinks in Namangan. This was reported by the press service of the khokimiyat of Namangan region.

The delegation of Coca-Cola Bottlers Uzbekistan headed by the general manager Ezel Agaoglu held talks with the khokim of Namangan region Shavkat Abdurazakov.

Ezelem Agaoglu noted during the meeting that the company has chosen the region for the construction of a new Coca-Cola plant.

The cost of the project will be US$27.7 million. The plant will be built in the Namangan free economic zone in Ibrat block.

It is expected that the plant will produce products for US$75 million.

At the moment, Coca-Cola Bottlers Uzbekistan owns factories in Tashkent, Urgench and Namangan.
