Chinese Shaoxing Shaxue to Invest US$10 Million in Ferghana
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Chinese company Shaoxing Shaxue Daily Chemical Products Co., Ltd plans to invest US$10 million in a hygiene products manufacturing project in Uzbekistan’s Ferghana region, local authorities said.
Ferghana regional governor Khayrullo Bozorov held talks with Zhang Weixing, head of Shaoxing Shaxue Daily Chemical Products Co., Ltd and founder of LULIN LLC, on an investment project to establish hygiene product production in the region.
According to the information presented, the Chinese company has already been officially registered in the Ferghana region. The project envisages the creation of a production facility in the city of Ferghana for manufacturing hygiene products, with capacity expansion planned in two stages.
The total investment is estimated at US$10 million. The project is expected to create new jobs and strengthen the region’s industrial base. Most of the output will be export-oriented, primarily targeting European markets.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed practical aspects of launching the project and further cooperation. The regional governor said local authorities would provide support in accordance with established procedures and stressed the importance of accelerating the start of production.
At the conclusion of the talks, the parties agreed to continue cooperation and coordinate further steps for implementing the investment initiative.
