Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Deputies of the Legislative Chamber Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan elected Surayyo Rakhmonova to the post of representative of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan for children’s rights (Children’s Ombudsman). This was reported by the press service of the lower house of parliament.

According to the data, the adopted resolution was sent to the Senate of the Oliy Majlis.

Surayyo Rakhmonova was born in 1978, she received a bachelor’s degree from the Tashkent State Law University in 2000 and a master’s degree in 2002. She received the Associate Professor (2015) and Doctor of Law (2018) titles.
