The company decreased production of construction gypsum by 39.6% from 23,239 tonnes in 2009 to 14,027 tonnes in 2010.

The enterprise increased production of gypsum crushed stones by 8.2% from 192,491 tonnes to 208,180 tonnes. Production of dry construction mixtures rose 2.81 times from 1,864 tonnes in 2009 to 5,240 tonnes in 2010.

Bukharagips OJSC JV exported products to neighboring states for US$115,800 in 2010 compared to US$5,300 in 2009.

Net income of the company made up 4.97 billion soums in 2010 against 3.28 billion soums in 2009. Prime cost grew from 2.54 billion soums in 2009 to 3.4 billion soums in 2010.

Expenses of Bukharagips OJSC JV grew from 2.69 billion soums in 2009 to 3.51 billion soums in 2010.

Income from main activity increased from 756.68 million soums in 2009 to 1.52 billion soums in 2010, the report said.

Income from financial activity reached 535.08 million soums in 2010 against 349.44 million soums in 2009, while expenses from financial activity decreased from 851.24 million soums in 2009 to 817.11 million soums in 2010.

Bukharagips OJSC JV decreased its assets from 11.64 billion soums in 2009 to 11.44 billion soums in 2010. The charter capital makes up 6.68 billion soums.

Knauf International GmbH purchased 30.77% of state assets in Bukharagips for US$1.55 million and undertook obligation to invest US$6.3 million in three years.

Currently, Knauf holds 98.98% stake in enterprise and employees and other shareholders – 1.02%. The enterprise specializes on production of dry gypsum mixtures.
