The Government of Uzbekistan signed a resolution “On changes of retail prices for petroleum and diesel fuel” dated 19 July 2011.
Cabinet of Ministers from 1 August 2011 set new retail prices for Ai-80 gasoline set at the size of 1,405 soums per liter, Ai-91, A-92 and Ai-93 gasoline – at the size of 1,570 soums per liter and Ai-95 – at the size of 1,755 soums per liter.
Retail price for diesel fuel set at the size of 1,405 soums per liter and diesel fuel of ECO – at the size of 1,465 soums per liter.
The Government also set monthly compensation for fuel expenses for some categories of persons, set by legislation, at the size 28,100 soums from 1 August 2011.
As reported earlier, prices for automobile fuel increased in Uzbekistan from 1 August 2011. The prices to gasoline grew by 10% in average.
Currently, the consumers in Uzbekistan can purchase a liter of Ai-80 gasoline for 1,580 soums, Ai-91 gasoline for 1,745 soums and Ai-95 for 1,930 soums. The gasoline Premium Euro-95 of Russian production costs 3,200 soums.
Retail price for automobile fuel includes tax for individuals for consumption of automobile fuel, which makes up now 175 soums for liter.
