Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Customs officers at the Islam Karimov International Airport in Tashkent uncovered another violation of customs regulations.

Specifically, an Uzbek citizen traveling on a flight from Tashkent to Munich attempted to smuggle a cup made of yellow metal marked 750—presumably gold—hidden in his personal luggage. The cup weighed approximately 104 grams and is estimated to be worth around 135 million 200 thousand Uzbek soms.

The attempt to illegally export the item was intercepted by customs officials.
