Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Asian Boxing Confederation held an online video conference to discuss future plans. At this online event was attended by management and representatives of the executive committee of the organization.
During the conference, questions on the prospective development of boxing in our continent for 2020-2021, plans for organizing after the postponement of the Tokyo Olympics and a review of the calendar of competitions were discussed. As a result, it was noted that the final decisions on the above issues will be confirmed in the month of August.
In addition, the participants considered the issue of raising the image of the Grand Slam tournament, which is held among the strongest boxers of the continent. For the first time such a tournament was organized in December 2019 in China.
