Asian Beach Games Begin in China’s Sanya City

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The opening ceremony of the 6th Asian Beach Games took place on April 22 in the city of Sanya, China. The multi-sport event will run until April 30 and is expected to bring together athletes from 40 countries across Asia.

The Games feature a range of beach and coastal sports disciplines, uniting participants from across the continent in a major regional sporting competition. The opening ceremony was scheduled for 17:00 Tashkent time.

The Uzbekistan delegation is participating in several disciplines, including open water swimming, beach athletics, and beach volleyball.
