In line with tradition, the organizers of the Art Week - Fund Forum, “Osiyo Ramzi” (Symbol of Asia) Association of Fashion Designers of Uzbekistan and Dom Stilya (House of Style) - have been working on a number of various events including fashion shows, presentations, exhibitions. This time guests are to come from Austria, Great Britain, Italy, France, Russia, USA, China, Japan, Switzerland and other countries.

Another unique feature of Uzbek Art Week is a grand project - Fifth Tashkent Biennale of Contemporary Art. The best galleries of Uzbekistan will become a venue for the art exhibitions with the participation of the leading local and international artists. Also the International Round Table on contemporary art, master-classes and lections and other events will be held during the week.

Since its establishing 4 years ago the Week proved to be the main platform for Uzbek fashion and national arts professionals: designers, artists, stylists, photographers and other experts as a whole to enrich their experience and present their art at a one scene with international professionals.

The organizers said: “We can be proud that many world-known brands, artists, celebrities and famous people visit Uzbekistan for this remarkable event. DSQUARED2, Pascal Morabito, Guy Laroche, Revillon, Wolford, Smalto, Ferraud, Chopard, Inès de la Fressange, and personally Takada Kenzo, Valentin Yudashkin, Vyacheslav Zaytsev, and many others presented their collections, performed their master-classes for young talents or had been honorable guests of the Style.uz project”.

World music stars Julio Iglesias and Rod Stewart made the project even more remarkable by presenting special musical programmes in opening and closing of the Week.
