About 100 Volkswagen vehicles were transferred to 4 regional branches of the emergency medical service

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The ambulance service is invaluable in providing emergency medical care and saving the lives of patients. That is why, on behalf of the President of the country, this direction has been completely transformed in recent years. In particular, the material and technical base has been updated and human resources have been increased.

As a result of large-scale measures to provide the emergency medical service with modern vehicles of the latest generation with all amenities, the number of delays to calls has sharply decreased. This allows to save the lives of many people in emergency situations.

If we look at the numbers, only in January of this year the car pool of the Republican Emergency Medical Center was replenished with 110 domestically produced Volkswagen Caddy cars. And in February, the next batch of 117 such vehicles assembled by Jizzakh Auto was distributed among the regions.

In addition, in August of this year, 50 Volkswagen Caddy A-class cars were sent to the ambulance stations of the Kashkadarya and Khorezm regional health departments.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Health, today, on 20 September, another 100 such vehicles were transferred to the Karakalpak, Tashkent, Surkhandarya and Syrdarya regional branches of the Republican Emergency Medical Center.

“To save a patient’s life in emergency situations, he needs to be provided with medical care as quickly and efficiently as possible,” says Abduvoitjon Gafurov, director of the Republican Center for Emergency Medical Care. - For this, the ambulance service “103” must be equipped with modern vehicles. And intensive care vehicles are an indispensable tool for the timely and safe transportation of seriously ill patients to the hospital.

Based on this, measures are being taken to gradually replace outdated ambulance service vehicles with new, more modern vehicles. Today’s event is a practical reflection of the implementation of these measures.

It should be noted that by the end of this year it is planned to transfer another 510 such vehicles to the regions.
