Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 5-7 April 2023, the twenty-second meeting of the Commission of the Council on Railway Transport was held on the methodology of operational and statistical accounting in railway transport, the press service of the CIS Executive Committee reported.

The meeting of the Commission was held in a mixed format using a technological communication system (CTS).

Members of the Commission, authorized representatives of the railway administrations of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Tajikistan, the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Republic of Latvia, the Republic of Estonia, as well as representatives of the Directorate of the Railway Transport Council took part in the work of the Commission member states of the Commonwealth and the Information and Computing Center of Railway Administrations.

As a result of the work of the Commission meeting:

- the results of the numbered census of containers conducted on 14 September 2022, both for the network as a whole and for railway administrations, were agreed and submitted for approval by the 78th meeting of the Council for Railway Transport of the States Members of the Commonwealth;

- adopted as a basis for further work the draft Methodology for recording the performance of traction rolling stock and locomotive crews on the infrastructure of neighboring states.
