Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Resolution of the President "On measures for the stable supply of energy resources to consumers in the city of Tashkent" was adopted.
According to the Resolution, 5 substations with a total capacity of 664 MVA with a voltage of 110 kV and power lines with a voltage of 35 kV and 110 kV with a length of 49.6 km will be built in Yunusabad, Shaykhontokhur, Mirzo-Ulugbek, Yashnabad and Yangihayot districts of Tashkent.
It is planned to increase the capacity by 179 MVA of 4 substations in Yunusabad, Mirzo-Ulugbek, Almazar and Mirabad districts through their reconstruction.
Physically obsolete power lines with a voltage of 35 kV with a length of 7.5 km and a voltage of 110 kV with a length of 41.7 km will be replaced with cables and wires of a modern type.
Also, according to the Resolution:
- the target indicators of the Program for Renovation of Low-Voltage Electric Grids of the City of Tashkent in 2023-2025 were approved.
Under the Program, a total of 2,969.8 km of low-voltage power lines and 703 transformer points are to be upgraded.
Also, plans for the development of electrical networks in other regions of the republic will be developed.
