Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Senior Vice President of ZTE Corporation Mei Zhonghua announced the launch of a BPO center for the export of remote services in Uzbekistan and expressed his intention to further develop cooperation in this new direction.
Minister of Digital Technologies of Uzbekistan Sherzod Shermatov met with Senior Vice President of ZTE Corporation Mei Zhonghua. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Digital Technologies.
At the meeting, plans for the activities of the ZTE BPO center, the status of the data center project and prospects for cooperation were discussed.
Cooperation in the field of telecommunications was also discussed, including expanding mobile and wired Internet networks, improving the quality and speed of communication, expanding coverage of remote areas, as well as developing the capabilities of Uzbektelecom.
The topic of data centers was also touched upon. The minister noted that the construction of a “green” data center is being carried out with the participation of the Saudi company Datavolt on the territory of the IT Park of Uzbekistan.
Proposals were made for cooperation with ZTE in the development of data centers, accelerating the implementation of current projects and expanding the BPO service center.
