Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Zaamin Airport has temporarily suspended passenger services, as reported by Uzgidromet.
This suspension is due to the ongoing second phase of repairs and modernization, aimed at enabling the airport to accommodate larger aircraft. The modernization work also includes upgrading meteorological equipment.
The airport is expected to resume passenger services once the work is completed, but no specific timeline for completion has been provided.
It is worth noting that the Zaamin Airport, located in the Zaamin district of the Jizzakh region, was officially opened on 1 September 2023.
