Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Chinese company Yutong has delivered 36 gas-powered (CNG) buses of the model ZK6950HG to Uzbekistan, providing local residents with more environmentally friendly transportation options. This was reported by the manufacturer’s press service.
The ZK6950HG buses are equipped with advanced compressed natural gas technologies, known for their low emissions and high fuel efficiency. This model fully aligns with Uzbekistan’s sustainable transportation strategy, Yutong highlights.
The buses will primarily be used for public transportation services in Tashkent, aiming to reduce air pollution in the city and improve travel conditions for its residents, according to the company.
During the handover ceremony, the head of Uzbekistan’s transportation department praised Yutong’s products and expressed confidence that these eco-friendly buses will provide cleaner and more efficient public transportation services.
In the future, Yutong plans to deepen its collaboration with Uzbekistan and contribute to the development of local green transportation through innovative technologies.
