Yushchenko extends condolences over Uzbekistan car crash
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko has offered his condolences to President Islam Karimov of Uzbekistan over the tragic aftermath of the road accident in Kashkadarya region, which caused human victims.
The presidential press service made public the message of condolences.
“On behalf of the people of Ukraine and on my own behalf, I am asking you to take my profound condolences and convey the words of sorrow and support to the near and dear of the casualties,” the telegram of condolences reads.
Under the latest reports, when a Mercedes bus collided with an excavator parked at a roadside, 23 people died.
