Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – Yashil Energiya and Tongwei Solar signed a contract for the supply of photovoltaic modules with a total capacity of up to 300 MW.

The agreement was signed with the Chinese company Tongwei Solar (Hefei) Co., Ltd. for the supply of photovoltaic modules for renewable energy sources of low power, in order to install them on buildings and structures of social facilities, government agencies and other organizations, with a total capacity of up to 300 MW.

Tongwei Solar is the largest manufacturer of solar cells and wafers for them, included in the "Tier 1" list. Tongwei Solar modules have been widely applied in photovoltaic projects in several regional markets around the world.

Tongwei’s solar panel production capacity is over 45 GW per year. The total production capacity of solar cells exceeds 100 GW per year.
