Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Yandex has announced the start of registration for the seventh international programming championship, Yandex Cup. This year, company employees will also participate, competing in a separate category for the title of champion among their colleagues.

The prize fund for the tournament has been increased to 1.75 billion soums. The finals and award ceremony for the best participants from various countries will take place in Tashkent.

Participants in Yandex Cup 2024 can choose from six categories: analytics, frontend and backend development, mobile development, machine learning, and "Algorithm," focused on competitive programming. Participants can try their hand in several disciplines and finalize their choice by the semifinals.

The Yandex Cup 2024 will take place in three stages. Online qualification will be held from October 14 to 20, with the online semifinals on November 2. The final competitions and award ceremony will occur from December 2 to 6 in Tashkent. A key innovation will be the Gold Final, where winners from all streams, including Yandex employees, will compete for the title of absolute champion in each category.

Applications for participation are accepted on the official championship website until October 20. Winners will receive cash prizes, and the best participants will have the opportunity to interview with Yandex through a streamlined process.
