Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Recently, the Yandex Go service launched a new security feature in Uzbekistan - monitoring driving habits. Special models process data from the accelerometer in the driver’s application and evaluate the smoothness of maneuvers. 

If the driver systematically makes hard braking, changing lanes or accelerating very quickly, the system sends warnings to him to drive more smoothly. If the driver does not change his driving style, the system may restrict his access to orders.

Yandex Go has summed up the first results: the share of drivers who systematically make sharp maneuvers has halved.

A smooth driving style is a key factor in safe driving along with keeping the speed limit, so these indicators are given special attention. In the future, a system of additional free insurance for drivers and passengers is also planned.

Yandex Go was launched in Uzbekistan in April 2018. The service operates in seven cities: Tashkent, Fergana, Bukhara, Margilan, Namangan, Andijan and Samarkand. Yandex Go does not have its own drivers and cars. The service cooperates with local carriers. The free app is available for iOS and Android in Uzbek, Russian and many other languages.
