Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Yandex Go has launched its ride-hailing service in Gulistan, the administrative center of the Syrdarya region. Users can choose rides of varying levels of comfort and cost. The service now covers 14 cities in Uzbekistan.

The minimum fare starts at 4,000 soums. For example, a ride from the train station to the A. Khojaev Music and Drama Theater costs approximately 4,500 soums.

To use the new service, download the free Yandex Go mobile app from the App Store or Google Play and register. To order a car and start a ride, simply enter the address or mark the destination on the map. The app will inform you when the car will arrive and how to find it. Payments can be made via a linked card or in cash.

The Yandex Go app uses Yandex-developed technologies, such as maps, navigation, and a smart order distribution system.

In addition to Gulistan, the service is already available in 13 other cities in Uzbekistan, including Tashkent, Namangan, Andijan, Fergana, Margilan, Kokand, Samarkand, Bukhara, Termez, Nukus, Karshi, Urgench, and Khiva.
