Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 23 May 2024, World2Fly airline launched charter flights to Uzbekistan. At 07:38 local time, a Spanish airline plane with 285 passengers on board landed at Tashkent International Airport, making its first flight on the Madrid-Tashkent route.

Traditionally, the plane was greeted with a water arch. The crew and passengers, including representatives of major Spanish travel agencies, journalists and bloggers, were greeted in the arrival hall to the sounds of karnay and surnay.

Charter flights on the route Madrid - Tashkent - Madrid will be carried out on Airbus A330-300 aircraft with a frequency of once every two weeks. 

Flights are also planned in the direction Madrid - Urgench - Madrid with the same frequency. The first phase of charter flights will last until the end of June and then resume from September to October 2024.
