Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Spanish airline World2Fly will begin operating charter flights connecting Madrid with two cities of Uzbekistan - Tashkent and Urgench.

According to Uzbekistan Airports, the first passenger flight on the Madrid-Tashkent route is scheduled for 23 May 2024. In addition to tourists, major tourism operators in Spain, journalists and bloggers will arrive on board the first plane.

It is planned that flights in the directions Madrid - Tashkent - Madrid and Madrid - Urgench - Madrid will be operated once every two weeks. Flights will be carried out on Airbus A330-300 aircraft. It is worth noting that the first phase of charter flights will last until the end of June, and then they will resume from September to October 2024.
