Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 4-6 October, the XII World Bodybuilding Championship is being held at the Humo Arena sports complex in Tashkent with the support of the 7SABER brand. The competition is attended by 350 athletes from more than 150 sports delegations from around the world.
Within the framework of the World Championship, the following categories for men and women are presented:
- bodybuilding is the most popular category for athletes with significant muscle mass;
- athlete-physicist - a category for athletes who structure their training, nutrition and lifestyle to achieve an ideal physique;
- fitness physicist - a category in which figure, flexibility, plasticity, technique and aesthetics, as well as elements of acrobatics are assessed;
- model physicist - a category for athletes who demonstrate a slender fit body with optimal muscle mass;
- sports physicist - a category that takes into account body weight, constitution and physical form.
Athletes participants have something to show on stage. Steel muscles and beautiful proportions are the result of painstaking work on yourself in the hall.
Before participating in the competition, each athlete had to go through a standard registration, weighing, measurements of height, and only then he received his number in a certain nomination. Then he stood in line, and the judges evaluated not only the appearance, but also the performance. Some athletes had a free program - everyone could perform for a minute to music, demonstrating their body in motion. The participants have a certain scheme of performance, which is strictly regulated.
Rustam Shaabdurakhmanov, Chairman of the NOC of Uzbekistan, said: “Today a wonderful holiday of sports and body health took place. Despite this difficult year, people have come, people are watching, people are doing a beautiful show. And I also advise you not to sit at home, go to the gym with your whole family, work on yourself every day.”
The World Championship in Bodybuilding and Physical Sports is not only a launching pad for beginner athletes, but also a great chance to declare yourself and show others your limits.
