Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) —  The busy program of President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev's stay in Kazan has concluded.

Following the events of his working visit, the head of state departed for Tashkent. At the airport, he was seen off by the Head of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and other officials.

The President of Uzbekistan delivered a speech at the plenary session of the "BRICS Plus" summit, presenting important initiatives aimed at achieving common sustainable development goals.

During the event, meetings and negotiations were held between the leader of our country and President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Chairman of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, Prime Minister of the Republic of India Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Pham Minh Chinh, Head of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, President of the New Development Bank Dilma Rousseff, and Chairman of the Board of Sberbank German Gref.

A ceremony was also held to award President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev with the state award of the Republic of Tatarstan — the "Dostyk" Order — for his significant contribution to the development of cooperation between Uzbekistan and Tatarstan and to the strengthening of friendship and mutual understanding between their peoples.
