Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The work of all gas filling stations has been temporarily suspended in Uzbekistan. At the same time, the volumes of natural gas supplies to some large industrial enterprises have been reduced. This was reported in the press service of the Ministry of Energy of Uzbekistan.

Due to abnormal cold weather in the country, there is a sharp drop in gas pressure in gas pipelines. Measures are being taken to provide natural gas primarily to the population, power generating enterprises and social facilities.

To meet the increased demand, gasoline and diesel fuel will be sold in additional volumes, including from reserves.
