Work continues on the construction of the tourist mahalla "Bogi Baland"

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- "Bogi Baland" is one of the famous gardens in Samarkand, founded by Amir Temur. It is located on the left bank of the Zarafshan River, on the slope of the Chupon-ota hill. The territory of this garden, where figs, the world famous paradise fruit of Samarkand, are grown, is 40 hectares.

To date, practical work has begun in the makhalla to create a tourist program that will be in demand by residents and guests of the city. On the territory of the makhalla "Bogi Baland" on Anjirzor Street, the activities of guest houses, animation centers and consumer service points are being established.

Two mini-hotels are being built on the territory of 40 acres of land, and it is planned to develop agro- and ecotourism in the area. It is planned to transform this area into the most densely populated tourist area through the formation of additional tour services.

In addition, the organization of recreational areas that do not harm the environment has begun. It is here that gazebos in the national style will be built, all conditions will be created for the preparation of national dishes.

Tourists will have the opportunity to get acquainted with 200-300-year-old fig trees and take a direct part in the collection of this fruit. In addition, it is planned to work on the provision of services to local and foreign tourists at a high level, the creation of a shopping center, food outlets, consumer services, sanitary and hygienic units. Free Wi-Fi zones will also start operating here.
