Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 13 December at 10:29 local time, a plane of the Hungarian airline WizzAir landed in Samarkand.
The Airbus A321 neo, which opened a new flight route to Uzbekistan: Abu Dhabi - Samarkand - Abu Dhabi, was traditionally solemnly greeted with a water arch, and the crew and 141 passengers were greeted with the sounds of karnay and surnay.
It is planned that direct regular flights will be carried out twice a week - on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
On 25 January 2023, WizzAir plans to start flights to Tashkent airport three times a week - on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
