Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- According to the relevant decision of the President, representatives of the khokimiyat of Bukhara region are sent to the embassies of 6 countries such as Indonesia, Malaysia, Bangladesh, the United Arab Emirates, Israel and Saudi Arabia to establish cooperation with travel companies in these countries to increase tourism flow to Bukhara.

Based on this, on 31 May this year, the head of the Bukhara Regional Department of Culture and Tourism and industry representatives visited the Wizzair low-cost airline in the UAE.

Here the Bukhara delegation met with the representative of the Low-Coster Chrislen Carey.

During the meeting, negotiations were held on the opening of the flight Abu Dhabi - Bukhara - Abu Dhabi.

It is known that this airline operates direct flights from the UAE to Tashkent and Samarkand.

Subsequently, proposals for the implementation of these flights in Bukhara were considered. This proposal was supported by the UAE low-cost airline.

Also during the meeting, a presentation of the tourism potential of the Bukhara International Airport and the Bukhara region took place, and a representative of the Wizzair airline was invited to Bukhara to get acquainted with the possibilities of the Bukhara International Airport.

In the future, this airline will operate weekly flights to Abu Dhabi-Bukhara-Abu Dhabi.

This will significantly increase the number of tourists arriving in Bukhara from the UAE.
