The contest was held from 23 September to 10 December 2013. The organizers said that over 100 applications from mass media participated in the contest.

Director-general of Unitel LLC Andrei Safronyuk said that the contest among mass media, who cover telecom market of Uzbekistan, was held for the second time. It was difficult to select winners, he added. He said that several laureates were awarded along with three winners.

The awarding ceremony was held on 20 December at International Hotel Tashkent. Five participants received diplomas and Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 tablet computer (I place), Samsung GALAXY S III Mini smartphone (II place) and Samsung GALAXY Ace II (III place), as well as 3G-modems.

The first place went to Uzreport agency for TV reports on developing e-sport in Uzbekistan. The second place was won by head of Uzdaily.uz project Anvar Umarov for articles on development of telecom market.

Hurshida Tursunbaeva of Toshkent Haqiqati newspaper was on the third place. Araxia Manucharova (Poytaht radio) and Sergey Savchuk-Qurbanov (Silkway.uz) were laureates of the contest.
