Tenders continue on the path to the development of "green" energy

Three tenders are underway in Uzbekistan for the construction of solar and wind power plants with a total capacity of 1,000 MW.

The first one is for solar photoelectric power plants with a total capacity of 500 MW in Bukhara, Namangan and Khorezm regions.

The second one is for a solar power plant with a capacity of 300 MW and an energy storage system in the Guzar district of the Kashkadarya region.

The third one is for the construction of a wind power plant with a capacity of 200 MW in Karakalpakstan.

Investors will be identified early next year.

For the first time in Uzbekistan, the state buys electricity from the population
