Wildberries launched a program to support new partners in the CIS countries

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Wildberries has introduced a preferential program for registering entrepreneurs from a number of CIS countries when opening new business cabinets on the platform. The preferential guarantee fee, which can be used for advertising promotion of products, will be 10,000 rubles.

The international platform prioritizes the development and strengthening of partnerships with local businesses and outside of Russia. Wildberries is actively expanding the geography of its presence in the CIS countries, developing logistics and warehouse infrastructure. Thus, local entrepreneurs can enter the online segment through the platform and launch sales in all countries where the company operates.

According to the Wildberries analytical service, from January to April 2023, the total number of entrepreneurs registered on the platform from Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan increased 3 times year-on-year and stands at 124,000. In monetary terms, the overall growth in sales of products manufactured in these countries in the same period amounted to +124% yoy.

“We are committed to strengthening cooperation with local entrepreneurs from the CIS countries. A simplified system for registering new business accounts on the platforms was also recently launched, which will speed up the process of starting your own business. Thanks to the introduction of a preferential guarantee fee, now entrepreneurs will have even more opportunities to develop in e-commerce and sell their products through our platform. We are sure that the possibility of using the contribution for advertising promotion will attract the attention of buyers to the products and will positively affect the growth of sales,” the press service comments.
