Wi-Fi at four buses in Tashkent worked at testing mode
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- WiFi-BUS project, launched at four buses of route No. 14 in Tashkent in February, was launched in testing mode. Initiative was directed at organization of access to Internet via Wi-Fi at the public transport.

Toshshahartranshizmat said that the primary stage of test ended successfully. The first stage was directed at testing Internet access parameters.

The company’s statement said that it plans to end tests in February-March. After tests and setting equipment, passengers of all buses of public transport in Tashkent can use internet via Wi-Fi.

Internet provider EVO, a partner of the project, said that the first stage of testing ended and equipment, installed in the buses, will be removed. In the second stage of testing, Wi-Fi at buses will not work.

In the second stage, the equipment will be tested at high loads regime. The second stage will be held in February-March, and in case of successful results, the full-scale project will be launched, EVO said.
