Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- By Order of the Minister of Health, a list of guaranteed medical care provided in outpatient and inpatient conditions at the district (city) level, paid for from the State budget of Uzbekistan, was approved.

Presidential Decree “On measures for the effective organization of public administration in the healthcare sector as part of administrative reforms” envisages the introduction of an improved system of health care delivery in the primary health care sector. 

It provides, among other things, for the formation of a List of guaranteed volumes of medical care covered by the State budget, taking into account diseases and conditions in outpatient and inpatient settings that are the cause of the largest number of requests from citizens at the district (city) level.

The list contains the types of medical services provided, their description, terms of provision in the context of family medical centers, family clinics, multidisciplinary central clinics, district (city) central hospitals and maternity hospitals.

The document also provides a list of diagnoses that are included in the guaranteed volumes of medical care. A separate list of drugs and medical supplies included in the formularies of medical institutions has been compiled.
