Western Tien Shan to be nominated to UNESCO World Heritage list

Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyz Republic are planning to nominate several unique natural objects to the UNESCO World Heritage list, REGNUM reported quoting the State Committee on Nature Protection of Uzbekistan.
The report said the UNESCO will consider the issue of including the Western Tien Shan to the World Heritage list of the organization.
The countries are planning to nominate eight protected natural territories, consisting of 12 areas. Among them is Chatkal state preserve.
