Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The participation of the Uzcharmsanoat Association and a delegation of more than 15 enterprises at the International Exhibition in Wenzhou continues with dialogues and mutually beneficial agreements.

On the next working day of the expo, the delegation of the Association met with the leadership of the Wenzhou branch of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry. During the dialogue, an exchange of views took place on establishing bilateral cooperation in the implementation of joint export-import and investment projects.

The Chinese side expressed interest in further strengthening cooperation with Uzbekistan, purchasing finished and semi-finished leather from our country, organizing master classes to train specialists for the leather and footwear industry, and developing cooperation in the field of education.

The Association presented the production, investment, export potential of the leather and footwear industry in Uzbekistan. In this regard, an exchange of views took place on the implementation of joint projects based on Chinese capital. Initiatives to strengthen bilateral relations in exhibition activities were also considered.

As a result of the dialogue, a memorandum was signed between the Design Center at the Uzcharmsanoat Association and the CCPIT International Donor Exhibition in Wenzhou. With the document, a large delegation of large Chinese companies will take part in the 15th International Exhibition UzCharmExpo-2023, which will be held in autumn in Tashkent. The Chinese pavilion will be located on an area of about 200 square meters.

Within the framework of the exhibition, a memorandum of understanding was also signed between the Uzcharmsanoat Association and the Wenzhou Leather Equipment Manufacturers Council. According to the signed document, the Council will provide practical assistance in the process of modernization of Uzbek enterprises.

In addition, our domestic enterprises have reached a number of agreements on the purchase of new equipment.
