Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – The Samarkand International Airport has installed new universal POS terminals from Yangi Bank that now support WeChat Pay. This information was reported by the press service of AIR MARAKANDA LLC.

This innovation will be a convenient solution for guests and tourists from China visiting the airport. 

Passengers using the popular Chinese app WeChat Pay can now make payments simply by scanning a QR code generated by the terminal. 

This move aims to create a comfortable and user-friendly environment for Chinese travelers, allowing them to pay as easily as they do at home without worrying about cash or unfamiliar payment systems.

The Samarkand International Airport currently serves flights to two Chinese cities, Urumqi and Xi’an, and is committed to providing a high level of service for its passengers.
