Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Starting from December 1, 2024, payments for drinking water and wastewater services will be fully transitioned to an online format, according to a statement from "Uzsuvtaminot."

This decision aims to make payments more convenient for citizens and to prevent corruption, as there have been cases where fraudulent individuals misappropriated residents' payments for water.

Going forward, water and sewage payments will be processed exclusively online, with no option for cash transactions.
